MEGA SOFT Water Softener for general use
If your raw water is hard, you would see scale formation in your pipe lines, fittings, appliances, tiles, flush out, etc.
Also you can notice soap not lathering well making bathing and washing not very effective.
Also you would notice hair fall, skin allergy, rashes, darkening of skin effects, sticky feel after bath.
All these problems can be solved by softening water. Excess Calcium, Magnesium in water makes it Hard. Total Hardness above 150mg/l (ppm) would need to be treated.
Mega Soft is filled with Thermax Tulsion Na+ Resin. This media is regenerated periodically using NaCl (common salt). This resin is an ion exchanger of Na+ with Ca, Mg present in water. There by bringing Hardness levels below 20 mg/l (ppm). However the TDS of the water is not altered hence is not a drinking water solution.
The maximum total hardness that can be treated is 700 mg/l (ppm). Hardness levels above this cannot be treated.
MEGA SOFT can be connected in series to MEGA MAGIC if raw water also contains iron.
All the models come with 1 year guarantee and media guarantee of 4 years.

This model is a Delivery line model. Can be connected to the delivery line from your O/H tank enabling soft water in all your outlets fed by that line. A brine charger can be used to easily regenerate with 1 kg common salt depending on the soft water drawn and on the hardness presence
